Piriz
C. baccatumThis absolutely great variety reminds a lot of another amazing variety, Trepadeira Werner. This variety has also thick flesh, even a little bigger pods which mature to orange. Very flavorful, like a mix between fruit and vegatable. Medium heat level.
Very easy to grow even in smaller pots. Always gives great yields even in not-so-ideal conditions. If you had to choose only couple of varieties, I would definitely recommend this one to be one of them.Challenge: 1 (Very easy to grow)3,90 €In stock

Champion
C. baccatumA mild, super tasty variety we have grown since early 2000's almost every year except for the past few years. Has only a mild pungency. The taste is best when used just before fully maturing. Just pick these pods just when start to turn into yellowish orange and you'll be amazed of the taste. One of the greatest mild varieties when picked at the right time! Let it ripen and it's still good, but more like ordinary mild very sweet pepper.
Some might think this is just another "Bishop's Hat" type chili but it's really not as this one has much more fruitier, just plain awesome taste!Very prolific and easy-to-grow variety.Challenge: 1 (easy)4,90 €In stock

These plants are also extremely prolific! The taste is excellent, has also sweetness to it with a below average heat level. A must have for any grower who also likes milder chilis.Challenge: 1 (easy)

Sugar Rush, Orange
C. baccatumA great baccatum bred from an accidental cross I grew years ago. My dear chilihead friend Chris Fowler grew many different phenotypes during a few years and this one is one of those. These large pods are very tasty as you would expect from a baccatum like this. The actual cross is most likely between Jamy and Kalaidoskop chili peppers. The plant is super prolific and quite large in size, still not too big plant for a C. baccatum. Great for stuffing!

Omnicolor
C. baccatumA permanent favorite amongst chili pepper growers. As the name says, this compact and very well yielding plant produces pods that go through almost every possible color.

They are rather hot. When dried and ground, produce extremely usable flakes or chili powder with unique flavor and tender heat suitable for dishes where you may not need the sharper flavor of “red peppers” or the characteristic “chinense pepper flavor”.
This can add a totally new dimension to your cooking. Also, as baccatum peppers go, Omnicolor needs very little maintenance and does very well indoors too. Highly recommended for both, beginners and long-time chili pepper growers who have missed this great variety so far.
