Wae Mae Wo
C. annuumOriginating from Korea, the Wae Mae Wo pepper belongs to the Capsicum annuum species. It's a plant that stretches upwards with grace, usually over a meter in height even when confined to a pot. It shows a surprising preference for cooler, shaded spots, flourishing even in the chill of winter when it continues to bloom. In a container, it's a generous producer, but it truly thrives when given room to spread its roots in the earth or to a larger pot, becoming more expansive and fruitful.

The peppers themselves transition from green to red as they mature, averaging around 6 to 7 centimeters in length, with a slender width of about 1 centimeter. They offer a delightful crunch and an unexpected flavor profile: a fusion of immediate sweety fruitiness, a little reminiscent in texture and taste to a crisp apple. This distinct flavor profile makes them an excellent addition to stir-fries and salads.
The Wae Mae Wo chili is a standout plant for those with the luxury of space, rewarding growers with its stature, pleasantly vigorous heat, and exceptional taste.

C. baccatumAbsolutely great variety from Curico, Chile. The taste is so good. It tastes completely different depending on the growing stage. The besting tasting pods can be enjoyed by picking them from the plant before they turn their color into red. Great as fresh practically with any food.
