Sugar Rush Amarillo is not a typical chili. It belongs to the Capsicum baccatum species but pushes the boundaries of what that species is known for — the sweetness here goes further than expected, the aroma is more vivid, more expressive, and more immediately striking than almost anything else in the Vault. Open the bag and it announces itself without hesitation: golden, fruity, and intoxicatingly fragrant.

The pods ripen to a warm yellow-orange, thick-walled and full of the natural sugars that give this variety its name. The heat is moderate — present and honest, but never the point. Sugar Rush Amarillo is a flavor-first chili, and the flavor is genuinely exceptional. There is a tropical richness to the aroma that sits somewhere between ripe fruit and warm sunshine, layered and complex in a way that surprises even experienced chiliheads.

This Vault batch is produced in small quantity from Finnish-grown plants. The pods are harvested at full ripeness and carefully dried to preserve the variety’s extraordinary aromatic compounds and natural sweetness. No smoke or additional processing — the goal is pure clarity, letting one of the most aromatic baccatums in existence speak entirely for itself.
