Species

Chilies are not one plant but five domesticated species, and the difference matters more than most people expect. A baccatum tastes nothing like a chinense; a pubescens will not cross with either. Each has its own flavour signature, its own habits and its own demands on your season.

Browsing by species is the quickest way to understand what you are actually growing — and the best way to find something genuinely different from what you grew last year.
