Madame Jeanette is a classic Capsicum chinense from Suriname, known for its irregular, golden-yellow pods and an intensely fruity, almost tropical aroma. It is a chili that has always carried both flavor and fire — and in this Vault release, it meets real wood smoke.

The pods are prepared by hand and slowly smoked for over 24 hours using traditional Nordic smoking woods. No smoke liquids, sprays, or artificial flavorings are used at any stage — only time, wood, and careful control. After smoking, the chilies are dried using a process refined through decades of experience, locking aroma, heat, and smoke into a stable, expressive flake.

The first impression is warm, rounded smoke. Then the Madame Jeanette fruit rises through it — bright, juicy, and unmistakably chinense — before the heat builds steadily and confidently. The smoke does not hide the fruit. It gives it depth and weight.
