Aji Gusanito comes from Bolivia, where it is also known as Arivivi or Aribibi Gusanito, the little caterpillar chili. The name comes from the pods: small, thin and slightly curved, creamy white like little worms.

The plant is naturally compact and very easy to grow, which makes it a great choice for pots and windowsills. The pods have a distinct, alluring aroma that sets them apart from more common chilies.
