Description

A chinense that leads with sweetness and then turns: the first impression is honeyed and fruity, and the heat arrives a beat later and builds properly. That order is the whole appeal — you taste the pepper before it stops you.

The plant is genuinely handsome, with lush foliage and a well-shaped, self-supporting habit, and it produces heavily without asking for much. It does as well in a pot as in a bed.
