Description

Smooth White is a very unusual variety, because it ripens the opposite way to most chilies. The pods start out dark purple and turn through cream and yellow to finally finish almost white, so the plant shows an odd, beautiful range of colours along the way.

The plants are extremely pretty when filled with these pods, and the photos show the colour changes better than words can.

Do not let the pale colour fool you: the heat is high and the flavour very strong. One of the most gorgeous pods to watch mature.
