Description

An Italian superhot from Space Chilli Peppers in Monteprandone, made by hand-pollinating Bhutlah Brown with their own Euforia line. The pods are large and finish in a long, pronounced tail — heavy with placenta and oil, which is where the burn lives — and they ripen green to a deep red with ruby tones.

The aroma is intense and fruity, closest to Jay’s Red Ghost Scorpion, and the heat is thoroughly in superhot territory. Nobody has put a laboratory figure on it, and we would rather say that than invent one.

Two things worth knowing before you sow. It is an unstable hybrid: pods vary in shape and sometimes in colour between plants, which is the nature of a cross still being worked on. And the plant grows larger than a chinense usually does, taking on an almost tree-like frame — give it room and expect a heavy crop. Sauces and powder.
