Description

Habanero Mellow is a habanero-type chili with the aroma intact and only a gentle hint of warmth. It is a line we are still developing, and it has earned its place by flavour alone: among mild varieties of the habanero family, it is one of the best-tasting we have grown.

The pods are red, lantern-shaped and thick-fleshed, juicy and crunchy, with the full, intensely aromatic habanero perfume you would expect from a far hotter pod. That makes it a great choice for anyone who loves the taste of habanero but not the burn.

The plant is wonderfully prolific. Use the pods fresh in salads, salsas and fruit dishes, or anywhere you want that tropical habanero character without the heat. As a line in development, expect some variation between plants. Limited release.
