Reaper Pink Peach

Description

Reaper Pink Peach comes from Faddas Pepper, a fellow breeder whose creative work keeps raising the bar. It traces back to a cross involving Carolina Reaper and Pink Tiger, and it shows both sides clearly: the Reaper build and bite, the Pink Tiger colour.

The pods are wrinkled and bumpy, many with the familiar scorpion tail. Their colour is the surprise. They pass through purple on the way to a pale pink-peach, and many pods keep lavender marbling even when ripe. Against the dark foliage the plant looks almost unreal.

Do not let the pastel colours fool you: this is a superhot with absolutely intense heat. Under the burn there is a genuinely fruity, slightly floral flavour, which makes it well worth using in small amounts in hot sauces and dried as flakes. The plant is easy to grow for a superhot.
