The taste is best when used just before fully maturing. Just pick these pods just when start to turn into yellowish orange and you'll be amazed of the taste. One of the greatest mild varieties when picked at the right time! Let it ripen and it's still good, but more like ordinary mild very sweet pepper.

C. baccatumHere’s another great classic – and an essential part of Peruvian cuisine! Baccatum peppers traditionally only grow in South America, but they are actually the easiest and most successful plants for home growers and beginners in chili hobby.

Lemon Drop represents hot, non-sweet, slightly lemon-flavored types of baccatum peppers (as opposed to sweet, low-heat or only moderately hot Ajis). The plant is relatively compact and produces lots of bright yellow fruit even in non-ideal home conditions.

Super tasty, juicy, sweet, fruit-berry like taste which is great to be used in salads, stuffed, on pizzas or even eaten as it is.
Even this is moderately mild variety, don't be surprised by the middle part which can take you by a surprise. Very prolific and much fun to grow. Very similar growing habit as the original Aji Fantasy has.
