Description

A highly productive Japanese variety known for its thin skin and mild heat, slightly sweet flavor. Most peppers are completely mild, but every now and then, one carries a bit more warmth. The compact plants produce heavily, making them a great choice for gardens, greenhouses, and containers. Shishito peppers are best harvested green for their classic flavor but develop extra sweetness when fully ripe.
