White Ghost

Description

White Ghost is the pale counterpart of the infamous red ghost pepper. Do not let the delicate colour fool you: under the cream-white skin there is the full ghost pepper heat.

The pods are wrinkled and pointed, ripening from green to creamy white and light yellow, and they hang in clusters that make the plant a real eye-catcher. The flavour is vibrantly fruity with the same strong aroma as its red relative.

The plants are prolific, so there is plenty to use fresh, dried or preserved. A great choice for a pale superhot sauce, or for drying into a powder that looks innocent and is anything but.
