Description

The Puya chili, originating from Mexico, is a medium-hot pepper well known for its fruity overtones and a heat that offers a moderate punch without overwhelming the palate. These chilies have a unique profile that adds depth to dishes, commonly used in traditional Mexican sauces and salsas to infuse a bold, robust flavor.

The deep red pods are elongated and somewhat curved, with a glossy skin, and are versatile in the kitchen, whether pureed, diced, or used to enhance the savory notes of meats and vegetables.
