Description

Cumari Colorado Red F7 was bred by Faddas Pepper from a cross of Cumari Alongado and Aji Colorado Red, and it combines great flavour, good looks and strong plant vigour in one variety.

The plants are ornamental already in flower, with purple-tinted blooms, and later fill up with bright red, slightly wrinkled pods that shine against the dark green foliage.

The flavour is vibrant and complex, slightly sweet and wonderfully aromatic, with just enough heat to make it exciting without hiding the fruit. A true pleasure in salsas and sauces, or fresh from the plant. This one quickly became one of our favourites.
