Description

White Nipple is a small-podded chili from the same family as Tabasco, with the sharp heat and distinctive flavour typical of that group. The plant is bushy and incredibly prolific, covered in clusters of small, rounded pods with a pointed tip, which explains the name.

The pods ripen from creamy white through orange to a striking red, and the plant usually carries all three colours at once, which makes it a fine ornamental too.

Do not be fooled by the size: these little pods pack a sharp, intense heat. They are ideal for hot sauces and for adding a kick to everyday cooking, and they dry easily.
