Sugar Rush Stripey is a distinctive Capsicum baccatum variety known for its striking striped pods and unusually high natural sweetness. Unlike many chilies that rely on heat for impact, this variety stands out through flavor alone. This Vault batch focuses on preserving that natural expression. The pods are harvested ripe and dried carefully to concentrate the chili’s sugars and aromatic compounds without flattening them. No smoke or additional processing steps are used — the goal is to let the variety speak for itself in its purest dried form.

Heat sits in the medium-hot range, but it never dominates. Instead, warmth supports the sweetness, adding structure and balance rather than aggression. The resulting flakes are vivid, aromatic, and highly versatile, offering a combination of sweetness and spice that is rare among dried chilies.
