Jigsaw is the result of a long-term selective breeding project by Fatalii, developed over multiple generations from the Moruga Scorpion. The goal was not only to increase heat, but to refine how that heat behaves. The result is a Capsicum chinense variety that pushes intensity further while retaining clarity and aromatic depth.

What defines Jigsaw is its burn profile. Heat does not arrive immediately. Instead, there is a deceptive calm followed by a rapid, exponential rise that quickly becomes overwhelming. The sensation builds steadily, then crosses a threshold where numbness replaces sharpness. This behavior is what has earned Jigsaw its reputation as an endpoint for heat-focused chilies.

Despite its extreme intensity, Jigsaw is not flavorless. Beneath the heat sits a pronounced fruity aroma with depth and structure, often described as more refined than classic superhot varieties such as Naga Morich or traditional 7 Pot types. When used in extremely small amounts, the flavor remains present even as the heat dominates.

This Vault batch is produced in limited quantity from Finnish-grown plants. The pods are harvested ripe and dried with precision to preserve both capsaicin content and aromatic compounds. No smoke, additives, or secondary processing steps are used — the character comes entirely from the variety itself and controlled dehydration.

The resulting flakes are exceptionally potent and must be treated with respect. Jigsaw is not a general-purpose chili. It is a specialized tool for experienced users who understand restraint.
