Instead of relying on one cultivar, this Vault batch combines several elite jalapeño varieties selected specifically for aroma, structure, and depth. Blended together, they capture the full range of jalapeño character: fresh green brightness, savory depth, and a rounded, vegetal warmth that a single variety alone cannot deliver.

To deepen that profile, the chilies are halved by hand and smoked slowly for over 24 hours using real wood. The smoke is applied with restraint and intent — never to dominate, but to amplify what is already there. The result is a jalapeño that feels fuller, darker, and more complete, while still remaining unmistakably jalapeño.

After smoking, the chilies are dried using a carefully controlled process refined through decades of experience. This preserves the volatile aromatic compounds created during smoking and locks the blend into a stable, expressive flake. No smoke liquids, sprays, or artificial flavorings are used at any stage — only time, wood, and careful control.

The finished result is a smoked jalapeño flake with a balanced mild-to-medium heat and a rich, savory backbone. It delivers warmth without aggression and depth without heaviness, making it a versatile everyday chili with professional-level aroma.
