Peppapeach Stripey is one of the most expressive Capsicum baccatum varieties we have worked with — beautiful striped pods and a refined aroma where gentle sweetness meets a soft, peach-like fruitiness. In this Vault release, that delicate fruit is paired with real wood smoke.

The pods are prepared by hand and slowly smoked for over 24 hours using traditional Nordic smoking woods. No smoke liquids, sprays, or artificial flavorings are used at any stage — only time, wood, and careful control. After smoking, the chilies are dried using a process refined through decades of experience, locking fruit and smoke into a stable, expressive flake.

Warm, rounded smoke opens the experience. Then the peachy sweetness comes through — clear and unmistakable — with heat in the mild-to-medium range that supports rather than dominates. Sweet fruit and real smoke, in balance.
