Sugar Rush Stripey is a Capsicum baccatum variety known for its exceptional natural sweetness and lively, layered aroma. Rather than sharp heat or heaviness, it offers a bright, expressive character that feels fresh and open. In this Vault batch, those qualities are preserved — and deepened.

After harvest, the pods are halved by hand and slowly smoked for over 24 hours using real wood. The smoking is deliberately restrained, designed to support the chili’s natural sweetness instead of overpowering it. The result is a softer, rounder profile where fruitiness remains clearly present beneath a gentle, well-integrated smoky layer.

Following smoking, the chilies are dried using a carefully controlled process refined over decades of experience. No smoke liquids, sprays, or shortcuts are used at any stage. Most seeds are removed before processing to ensure clean flavor and balance. What remains is a sweet–smoky–spicy flake with a distinctive character that cannot be replicated by industrial methods.

Heat sits in the medium-hot range, but never dominates. The focus is on aroma, sweetness, and depth — making this smoked Sugar Rush Stripey expressive, versatile, and unmistakably itself.
