WHAT THE FIRST ROUND BUILT

The concrete slab was already there — it's the floor of the old greenhouse that used to stand on this spot. Everything above it is

new, and everything above it is what your orders paid for.

Timber. Frame and roof trusses. Roof, wind barrier, walls, windows, wiring, insulation.

It went slower than planned, and a few good friends stepped in at exactly the right moments. But it is standing.

Last spring, order after order came in with "Project Sisu" written in the notes. I read every one of them. That is what put the frame up, and I have not forgotten it.

And thank you to everyone who buys from FataliiSeeds.net, campaign or no campaign. This is a one-person operation — the growing, the seeds, the packing, the newsletters, the building.

Every order is someone deciding to keep it going. I don't take a single one for granted.

WHERE IT IS NOW

The shell is done. And a shell is not a growing space.

What's left is the part nobody photographs: heating, ventilation, humidity control, and the automation that keeps conditions right when I'm not standing in the room. In a Finnish winter that's the difference between a growing space and a very expensive shed.

Building costs what it costs right now, and that's the honest reason this campaign exists.
